PhotosTM Bay Area wedding Photography TV Ad.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_ULpe9HNF4
What is the visual style of the film (animated, live action, stop motion)? Live action

What is the tone (happy, sad, scary, funny)? Happy

What is the product they're selling? Who is their Target Audience? They are trying to get happy newly wedding couples or about to be husband and wife to sign up a session with
PhotosTM.

What is the 'problem' that the product is solving? If so, how does the commercial talk about these problems? There wasn’t a problem stated in the video; the ad just discussed how creative the wedding photographer was at different poses and how he catches the moment perfectly.

Is there a Narrator? If so, is the narrator a voice over (off screen) or a character on screen? The narrator is off screen.

Do you feel that the commercial is successful? Why? I do feel that the commercial is successful because the video incorporated people who have had the photographer at “their” wedding and the pictures he took of them had a pop of color. The photos were creative. The advertisement also included information about packages and had a number to call which is ideal.

What is the visual style of the film (animated, live action, stop motion)? Pictures

What is the tone (happy, sad, scary, funny)? Elegant

What is the product they're selling? Who is their Target Audience? They are trying to get happy newly wedding couples or about to be husband and wife to sign up with the photographer.

What is the 'problem' that the product is solving? If so, how does the commercial talk about these problems? There wasn’t a problem stated in the video; the ad just displayed elegant photos, wedding dresses, and soothing fonts that attracted the eye specifically a young couple who is thinking about getting married.

Is there a Narrator? If so, is the narrator a voice over (off screen) or a character on screen? There isn’t a narrator; just soothing music in the background.

Do you feel that the commercial is successful? Why? I do feel that the commercial is successful because the video incorporated a very popular theme; based their dresses and the overall wedding after a Disney’s fairytale wedding.

CRAZIEST Under Water Trash Wedding Dress

http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=sEPJkZNGO9c&feature=endscreen
What is the visual style of the film (animated, live action, stop motion)? Live Action

What is the tone (happy, sad, scary, funny)? Funny and elegant

What is the product they're selling? The “product” the advertisement is trying to sell is to set an appointment up with
Max Lopatin based on the creativity and sexiness of the pictures and videos displayed.

Who is their Target Audience? They are targeting couples who want to “trash” the bride’s wedding dress by having sexy photos in the water.

What is the 'problem' that the product is solving? The problem could be that a bride will most likely only where her wedding dress once, so why not be elegant during your wedding, and then look sexy while playing in the water with your husband “ruining” your dress. The photographer has creative ideas and is an excellent photographer based on the pictures shown.

How does the commercial talk about these problems? The commercial doesn’t explain to the audience what the problem is; the problem is more self-explanatory.

Is there a Narrator? If so, is the narrator a voice over (off screen) or a character on screen? There isn’t a narrator; just fun/ exciting music that has an up-beat which correlates with the video and pictures.

Do you feel that the commercial is successful? Why? I do feel that the commercial is successful because the video is so unique incorporating sexy wet pictures. The video is interesting, pictures are stunning, and the couple taped looks like they are having a great time. Watching this video, makes me want to go by a wedding dress, pick up a guy and call the photographer.

What is the tone (happy, sad, scary, funny)? Techno

What is the product they're selling? They are trying to get adults/ parents to sign up with
Paul K Eddy Photography, Inc for any occasion such as wedding photographs, portraits, etc.

Who is their Target Audience? Young adults

What is the 'problem' that the product is solving? If so, how does the commercial talk about these problems? There wasn’t a problem addressed in this commercial.

Is there a Narrator? If so, is the narrator a voice over (off screen) or a character on screen? There isn’t a narrator; just techno music that intertwines with the pictures.

Do you feel that the commercial is successful? Why? The video is creative, but I do not feel that this commercial/ advertisement is successful. The music doesn’t appeal to many adults, and I don’t think the Company has gotten the numbers it has been looking for because of this video.

Photo Memories ad

What is the visual style of the film (animated, live action, stop motion)? Pictures

What is the product they're selling? The Company is trying to get adults and parents to sign up with Photo Memories. All Photo Memories needs are pictures of an event, and they will put together a photo slide show to view at the comfort of your own home.
Paul K Eddy Photography, Inc for any occasion such as wedding photographs, portraits, etc.

Who is their Target Audience? Young adults and parents

What is the 'problem' that the product is solving? There wasn’t a problem addressed in this commercial.

Is there a Narrator? If so, is the narrator a voice over (off screen) or a character on screen? There isn’t a narrator; just upbeat/ jazz/ Disneylike music.

Do you feel that the commercial is successful? Why? I do not feel that this commercial/ advertisement is successful. The music doesn’t appeal me, but I am not quite sure if it would appeal to many young adults. The pictures are nothing special. Even though the person who signs up for Photo Memories uploads their own pictures, if I were a potential customer, I would like to see astonishing pictures of various events.

Corporate Identity- Brochure

The brochure definitely took me a long time to complete. I couldn't figure out how I wanted the lay out to be nor get the black lines even on both pages. After much thought, I was able to get a nice elegant look to the brochure. I went with the same pink, but a lighter opacity because I felt the bright pink was too much for the brochure. Additionally, I had trouble printing the brochure on the same sheet (on opposite sides). Although after much hard work, I am very pleased with the brochure- just a little nervous because I don't know if this blends with the letterhead and business card.

Corporate Identity- Letterhead

I am still having trouble getting rid of a light black box around the symbol and line even though both have been linked to the appropriate symbols. Additionally, after finishing the business card before, the letterhead much easier. As far as the layout of the letterhead, I wanted to stay consistent with my color scheme as before; bright pink, black, white and a little gray. I believe the letterhead for Infinity Creations Photography has a simple layout, but is still fun and elegant.

Letterhead

I have uploaded two different versions to my blog because I am not sure which one I like more. There is just one very minor detail that is different from the letterhead above. This letterhead has a smaller infinity symbol, line and text rather the layout above is a little bigger.

I would love to know your thoughts to which one you like better.

Thank you.
